"Following breakfast, you'll set out on a captivating journey to Luxor's West Bank. Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, a mesmerizing testament to the Pharaohs' grandeur. Here, you'll find 63 tombs carved into the mountainside, the most renowned being that of King Tutankhamun. "Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Luxor to Aswan, where you'll encounter magnificent temples. On the West Bank of the Nile lies Edfu Temple, one of Egypt's best-preserved ancient religious sites. This Ptolemaic temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, offers a glimpse into the past. Its walls are adorned with inscriptions and scenes that provide insights into the language, traditions, and religious practices of Hellenistic Egypt. The two impressive temples you are about to see stand on the West Bank of Lake Nasser, but their original location was elsewhere.
